Notebook No. 1. DVArea Papers Collection – 2022–2023

DVArea · 6 June 2023

The first DVArea Architecture Notebook, containing a collection of papers written by members, associates and collaborators.

In addition to the events and the map, DVArea has published a notebook presenting an overview of its first year as a benefit corporation. A wide range of topics were addressed: from gender equality to regenerative design, from hyperconnected buildings to project management. A publication that contributes to the culture of architecture, starting from the region where DVArea has chosen to take a leading role, drawing on the experience of DVA and its associated companies, from DVS to DVMEP and including Bimfactory.

In recent months, ODUElab has joined, promoting the relationship between architecture and neuroscience, as well as UP Construction, a company that supports investors active in the transformation of the built environment. In addition, DVArea has acquired a 30% stake in Strobilo, a company that employs advanced neuroscience techniques to study the relationship between human beings and the planet, and is formalising its entry into Buildtech, a spin-off of the University of Genoa, with a focus on sustainability and innovative materials.
