Works Completed on the New Artistic Gymnastics Center in Sanpolino
DVArea · 10 April 2026
The works on “Cluster 3”, dedicated to Artistic Gymnastics, have been completed. This is one of the few facilities in Italy capable of integrating specialised training spaces with hospitality functions.
At the heart of the new building inaugurated in Sanpolino is a 1,250 sqm gymnasium, equipped with regulation apparatus for women’s artistic gymnastics and designed to host national team training camps, technical workshops, and activities for international clubs. The ground floor also includes the dining hall, kitchen, and hospitality areas. The first floor is dedicated to 42 beds and a study room, allowing athletes to balance training with their school commitments.

Promoted by the Municipality of Brescia and Brescia Infrastrutture, the project involved DVArea – as part of an RTP alongside PCMR, Architect Giuseppe De Martino, and Geolambda Engineering – acting as the lead partner responsible for the detailed and executive design phases, coordinating a structured system of technical, administrative, and specialist expertise. In addition to its role as lead partner, DVArea also developed the architectural design, electrical systems design, and acoustics in-house, contributing directly to the technical definition of the project.
This infrastructure that strengthens Brescia’s position within the national sports landscape and confirms DVArea’s ability to design highly specialised spaces, integrating sporting function, architectural quality, and strategic vision.
