The excellence of Brescia’s sports infrastructure featured in TSport

Issue 370 of TSport, a leading specialist magazine with over 50 years’ experience in the design of sports facilities, swimming pools, fitness centres and urban spaces, includes an in-depth article on the new indoor athletics arena in Sanpolino, Brescia.

Together with the new arena for women’s artistic gymnastics, the project is helping to transform Sanpolino into a major sports hub for the city and the wider region.

Commissioned by the Municipality of Brescia and Brescia Infrastrutture, the project appointed DVArea as lead partner, responsible for coordinating and overseeing the detailed and executive design phases as part of a Temporary Joint Venture with Arch. Giuseppe De Martino, Progetto CMR and GEOLAMBDA Engineering.

This complex and ambitious project was conceived to provide the city with high-level sports facilities and new infrastructure capable of hosting athletes, competitions and major national and international events.

It is an infrastructure that strengthens Brescia’s position on the national sports scene and confirms DVArea’s ability to design highly specialised spaces, integrating sporting functionality with architectural quality.
