Double award for DVArea at the OICE Awards 2025 in the categories Innovation and Concrete Projects

DVA, DVS · 24 June 2025

During the OICE Awards 2025 Gala Dinner, held at Villa Miani in Rome, DVArea received two important awards: one in the Innovation in Engineering and Architecture category and the other for Concrete Project Design. Two different awards, but linked by a common design vision that combines rigour, experimentation and responsibility.

For DVArea, innovation means improving the quality of design and construction processes through the conscious use of digital technologies. Tools that make work more collaborative, transparent and focussed on people’s well-being.

This approach also applies to the selection of materials and design solutions. One notable example is the Inspire UpTown project, in which DVS — the DVArea Group company specialising in structural engineering —has reinterpreted concrete in a contemporary and sustainable way, enhancing its technical, aesthetic and ecological potential.

DVArea was also shortlisted in the categories “Best Place to Work”, which recognises outstanding achievements in workplace culture, and “CEO of the Year”. Being a finalist in these categories is further confirmation of the strength and quality of the Group’s work, which is characterised not only by technical expertise, but also by its ability to foster a healthy, inclusive working environment based on interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The recognitions at the OICE Awards 2025 are not only milestones, but also an opportunity to reaffirm DVArea’s daily commitment to conscious and responsible design— that puts innovation, sustainability and people’s well-being at the centre.

«These awards remind us that architecture can be many things, but above all, it must be about responsibility. And to innovate means choosing how we want to build the world of tomorrow.»
Armando Casella, CEO and co-founder of DVArea.
