DVArea regains full ownership of Bimfactory

Bimfactory · 20 December 2024

An agreement has been signed between DVA and Progetto CMR for the purchase of shares in the company that provides digital consultancy to the construction sector.

With the arrival of the new year, we are pleased to announce that Bimfactory has once again become wholly part of DVArea. Shortly before the Christmas holidays, an agreement was signed between DVA and Progetto CMR for the transfer of the company’s shares.

This transaction forms part of both groups' strategy to retain only controlling interests in their subsidiaries. Within the framework of established relationships, collaboration on specific operations will nevertheless continue.

«I am pleased to announce this initiative, which further strengthens the digital core of the DVArea Group. With this strategic step, we consolidate our role as General Designer, addressing the architecture project through a data-driven approach. At the same time, we demonstrate our ongoing commitment to investing in technologies and innovations that deliver value to our partners and clients. Founded in 2015 through the foresight of the partners of the subsidiary DVA, Bimfactory was a pioneer in the market for its strong connection between digitalisation and design.

The DVArea Group (100% owner of DVA) has grown over the years by consolidating its know-how and expanding the scope of digital applications in architecture and the construction industry. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our friends at Progetto CMR for five years of collaboration, during which we have made a positive contribution to the digital transition of the industry supply chain».
