The project will also include the creation of large covered outdoor spaces and the revitalisation of the adjacent garden. A building designed to promote, on one hand, cultural integration among people of different ethnicities and, on the other, the privacy necessary for their social and religious practices.<\/p>\n<p>A demolition and reconstruction project aimed at integrating harmoniously into the urban fabric, increasing the number of beds without exceeding the footprint of the existing building. Great attention was also paid to the environment, utilising renewable energy sources, while focusing on keeping project costs low and minimising future operational costs.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cCasa dell\u2019Accoglienza is an example of urban regeneration, resulting from a co-design process between DVA and Brescia\u2019s social services.
