Human Technopole Foundation
MIND Area, Milan
For the construction of the new headquarters of Human Technopole in the MIND area of Milan, Bimfactory was responsible for BIM Management services from the early stages of developing the information model through to the delivery of the As-Built models. Commissioned by the General Contractor Wood Beton Spa in collaboration with DVA, we were specifically in charge of:
- Preparation of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
- BIM Management
- Creation of the federated model, clash detection, and model checking
The application of the BIM methodology was crucial in supporting a construction design process aimed at industrialized production, reducing construction time and raising quality standards through prefabrication and the simulation of assembly and disassembly processes.
Particular attention was paid to clash analysis to support the construction process, made possible through the use of collaborative and centralized platforms accessible and interactive for all stakeholders in real time.
Data control, aimed at delivering models compliant with client specifications, allowed for time savings during documentation phases and ensured a high degree of reliability regarding the accuracy of the information associated with the model elements as required by the client.
BIM Management is not only about data and clash control. The design and construction process was constantly coordinated, providing support to designers and contractors, raising both the quality and the speed of execution.
