DVArea · 30 January 2026
The Lario Stelvio project, developed by Kervis SGR and led by DVArea for integrated design and construction management, has received an Honourable Mention in the “Innovation and Design” category at THE PLAN Real Estate Award 2025..
The recognition was announced during the official award ceremony, which each year highlights outstanding achievements in the international real estate, architecture, and property development sectors, with a strong focus on innovation, design quality, and sustainability. The 2025 edition featured over 60 projects, selected through a rigorous evaluation process that resulted in 32 finalists, from which eight winners and ten Honourable Mentions were chosen.
The Lario Stelvio project stands out for the adaptive reuse of a disused building complex into a hospitality facility, conceived as an opportunity to combine built heritage regeneration, local identity, and economic sustainability. This approach reflects DVArea’s vision of contemporary design as an integrated process capable of managing complexity, constraints, and long-term objectives.

The Honourable Mention in the “Innovation and Design” category confirms the value of a design approach rooted in integrated design, dialogue between architecture, engineering, and real estate development, and the ability to transform existing buildings into new opportunities for the area.
“Lario Stelvio is a successful example of the adaptive reuse of a former school building into a hospitality facility. The design stands out for its ability to respect and enhance local identity; particularly noteworthy is the project’s capacity to reconcile adaptive reuse with the challenges of economic sustainability.”
