Inauguration of the new “Benedetta Bianchi Porro” primary school in Sirmione
DVArea · 15 September 2025
An important investment for the municipality of Sirmione that combines structural innovation and sustainability. DVArea was at the forefront of construction supervision in RTP, introducing innovative construction solutions and advanced digital site management.
On Wednesday 10 September 2025, the new “Benedetta Bianchi Porro” primary school in Sirmione was inaugurated, a project that renews the municipality’s educational facilities with a modern, efficient and sustainable building. Built as part of a public-private partnership (PPP), the school can accommodate around 600 students in 18 classrooms and has dedicated spaces for a library, a canteen, an amphitheatre and a suspended gymnasium, which will become a new architectural landmark.

DVArea acted as construction manager in a temporary group of professionals, coordinating the entire process and introducing significant improvements: from the prefabrication of the façades on site, which improved the quality of the finishes, to the digital management of the construction site through BIM models and a CDE platform. A collaborative approach that, despite initial scepticism, proved crucial in speeding up approvals, tracking activities and ensuring consistency down to the smallest detail. The new school thus stands as a model for sustainable, innovative educational architecture that is closely linked to the local environment.
